R.I.P. Kurt Cobain

I must acknowledge the passing of a legend. Kurt Cobain died this day, April 5th, ten years ago.

He was the lead singer of *my* favorite band. The leader of a band that played music, that started a movement, that changed music for all times.

He is missed.

Pete,

If Cobain was around he’d be singing the National Anthem in Seatle then tossing out the first pitch.

Pablo,

I think you’re on to something…..

I liked Nirvana, but I still don’t understand why Curt committed suicide. When it happened, everybody started wearing shirts in his memory and trying to make him a legend. Whats up with that?

David,

I have no idea why he did it… I assume in his drug-infested brain the only option was suicide. Who knows?

I do know that he is, was, and will be a legend for a long time. Kurt Cobain’s genius was recognized when he was alive and is still recognized by all music critics….

It didn’t have to be drugs demolishin his life and brains to the point when he decided to do what he did. Just think about being a total stranger in the world today. Jesus man, he gave life to grunge and the time of Princ and other similar shits. Find me a person strong enough to lead a small group of totaly ununderstood people through this world………..
