Now Microsoft has widgets…

First Konfabulator, then Apple, and now Microsoft….

Microsoft has announced their own version of widgets which will be a part of their next OS, Vista. Microsoft is calling them “Gadgets”. Go hit the Microsoft Gadget project website to see how they compare. One cool feature is there are gadgets that are geared specifically to be used in the Start Bar. I can see some cool stuff being developed there.

I wonder how Yahoo is feeling about their purchase of Konfabulator, now?
