Ryan, you nailed his pattern. However, I liked Unbreakable, a lot. And I thought Signs was good. So his first 3 movies, collectively, were good enough that I'm forced to see anything Shyamalan puts out. It's been disappointment after disappointment. Maybe he'll stop making movies after this pile.

When was the last time he made a good movie? After The Sixth Sense, his movies follow the same basic formula:

1) Make the first hour and a half completely boring and confusing with some occasional creepiness thrown in so the audience doesn't leave.

2) Tie a bow around everything with a contrived plot twist that does not nearly make up for the rest of the movie.

This pretty much sums up Unbreakable, Signs and The Village. I never saw Lady in the Water, but I heard that was teeerrrrrible.
