This month’s meeting was Wednesday and it was very good. Craig Walls did a great job covering XDoclet. Of the 4+ years I’ve been regularly attending JavaMUG I’d have to say this presentation would be a “Top 10’er”.
Craig sent out an email with a link to his XDoclet presentation and I would highly recommend reading it. It would be a good primer to his book, “XDoclet in Action”.
I’ll admit I knew nothing about XDoclet. I thought it was nothing more then a “helper” for writing EJB based web apps. I was very wrong. I’m going to use it to generate my web.xml files for jsp/servlet projects I’m working on.
If you are in the DFW area you should really start attending the JavaMUG meetings. It’s a good way to get to meet other Java programmers in the area, and you’ll walk away a better Java programmer.
