I don’t know about you, but I’m about to have one heck of a weekend.
I’m getting up at 5:30, Friday. Leaving the house by 6:30. Catching a 8:20 flight to New Orleans to meet some friends and family for my step-brother’s bachelor party. The flight lands at 9:30. I plan on being in the casino by 10:30. I’ll break for lunch and dinner. Friday night is still up in the air. It will be either casino or bar-time.
Saturday will start early enough to watch the tu – OU game. If you’re a betting man take OU for some easy money. Saturday afternoon will most likely be spent at the Cat’s Meow. I love the Cat’s Meow. It has 3 for 1 drink specials. You go to the bar and pay $2.50 for a beer and you sit down with 3. You can’t beat that. Saturday night is still unplanned, but I’m gonna try my hardest to find a bar that is showing the Fightin’ Texas Aggies game. They’re playing Iowa St and it’s being broadcast by Fox Sports as a PayPerView event.
I will obviously sleep in Sunday because my flight doesn’t leave until noon-thirty. Katie and Noah are picking me up at the airport around 3:20 and we are gonna take Noah through the airport museum in Love Field. Noah loves airplanes and I’m sure he’ll love the museum.
Go Aggies!
Good luck on all fronts this weekend. Picking a team in the UT (I suppose tu is Aggie-speak) vs. Oklahoma game is tough for a Gator. Bobby Stoops was the greatest defensive coach in UF history and the Longhorns upset of Nebraska in ’96 opened the door for the Gators to get into the Sugar Bowl and eventually win the National Championship. In the end however, my money would also be on OU.
