Yes, it’s still January, but that doesn’t mean I can’t pick a favorite CD for the year yet. I can definitely change my mind as the year goes on. Hey, I can do whatever I want. This is my site and my opinions…. 🙂

Drum-roll please…..

My favorite CD of 2005, as of January 20, is “Good News For People Who Love Bad News” by Modest Mouse. It’s awesome! It works for road trips, it works for background music, and I like to code while listening to it. Go buy it. It’s good stuff.

Also, I must again thank an old co-worker of mine from my days at Pegasus Solutions, Kevin Harper, for clue’ing me in to Modest Mouse. And my wife would like me to un-thank him because I like “Good News For People Who Love Bad News” so much I went and bought their first two CDs. I’ll give you a review of them in the near future.
