This Hmm… caused some controversy at work today. I was wondering is popcorn under the “chips” umbrella?
There were strong arguments for the “chip group” and the “vegetable group”. Popcorn does come from corn.

Interesting comparison… chips vs. vegetables. Not sure if there’s a way to put popcorn in either of these categories. If I had to, I’d say popcorn is a distant cousin to vegetables and a brother/sister of chips in the “Snack Foods” group.
