Weibust Family First…

We had a Weibust Family first last night (5/3/05). Our youngest son, Zachary, slept through the night for the first time ever……..

My wife was very excited. She has been nursing Zachary since day one (11/12/04) and him not sleeping through the night means that she has been up at least once, sometimes twice a night, every night since he was born. And Katie works a full time job (yeah I’m a slave driver).

Katie is a great mom, wife and person. She has rarely complained about being tired after getting up night after night, and I can’t remember a single time she asked me to get up with her to help with Zachary in the middle of the night.

Maybe this is Zachary’s way of giving his mom a well-deserved Mother’s Day gift. Either way, it’s a big deal……

Problem is didn’t you wake up rested and wonder what was wrong?? 😉

As you already know, once the teething starts, its back to getting up again. 😉

Teething sucks… For babies and parents…

I remember those days. I have 3 kids that are all 1 year, 2 months and 3 days apart and when one of them would wake up screaming and crying it became a chain reaction and it was triple whammy! My wife works long hours and I’ve always been the one that stayed home and did all the caring for the kids and now that they are a little older, 3, 4 and 5 the waking up in the middle of the night stopped. But with kids when something stops and you thank god it did, something else always comes along to replace it.
