I’m happy to report that since tweaking a few things in my MovableType installation last Thursday I have not had a single bit of spam posted to my blog. Yeah, I’m sure I’ll get hammered after this post, but I’m really happy. No spam. Nothing in my Activity Log about Blacklist blocking this or that.
If you are using MovableType I highly recommend renaming your comment and trackback scripts. These tips were gladly found in a post on Dave Taylor’s Blog. Summing up the process you just rename the files and then update the names in your mt.cfg.
