The best coaching decision Coach Fran made all year was firing his Defensive Coordinator Carl Torbush.
The Aggie Defense was HORRIBLE this year. They were a DISGRACE! And Coach Torbush was held accountable for the piss-poor performance that he was responsible for. Torbush might have had skins on the wall from past coaching stops, but he did NOTHING good in his time at Texas A&M. The defense has fallen so far that it will take years before they can return to the glory days of the 90s.
I’ll give a Texas Aggie Football 2005 season recap in a day or so when I wake up from the nightmare that was Coach Fran’s 3rd (and final?) year.
