I have no idea what caused this, but Firefox just freaked out on me. I didn’t have anything too out of the ordinary going on. I had two Firefox windows open. One with about 20 tabs and one with about 5-6. Also, my browser hadn’t been running for that long. I rebooted my machine this morning. So Firefox was running for less then 12 hours. I’ve run Firefox for days without shutting it down in the past.
Anyhow, I clicked a link to open a pdf and Firefox just went nuts. I grabbed this screenshot of my memory usage when Firefox was above 600MB, and I got it shut down at about 725MB. Crazy!
