Eric Gregg, my favorite umpire passed away Monday night.
Yeah, I have a favorite umpire. I’ve watched thousands of baseball games in my life and a game with Eric Gregg behind the plate was always gonna be interesting, no matter who was playing, pitching, or hitting. The guy was well liked by players, coaches, and fans. Nothing was better then listening to Harry Caray complain about Eric Gregg’s calls.
