Yeah, I’m one of the guys that has been refreshing the dang Callisto homepage over and over today waiting to get the download. Once it was available I downloaded and installed Eclipse 3.2.
With Eclipse 3.2 running I immediately went for one of the Callisto downloads – the J2EE tools. It might not be obvious to everyone, but you go to Help -> Software Updates -> Find and Install… -> Select “Search for new features to install” -> Next -> check “Callisto Discovery Site” -> and hit the Finish button. An Update Site Mirror box will pop-up. Pick a mirror site and hit OK. Then you can expand “Callisto Discovery Site” and pick a plugin(s) to install.
I’m still not sure why this, Callisto, is so good for Eclipse. I still had to do the above mentioned steps, and further I still had to dig through a bunch of high-level categories looking for the plugins I wanted (WebTools). Either way, I’ve got Eclipse 3.2 and WTP 1.5 installed and running on my machine.
