What is up with Gas?

Quick rant while I get caught up after being offline Thur-Mon.

WHAT THE HECK IS UP WITH GAS PRICES? I just filled up my tank today with $2.39/gallon gas. Wasn’t gas $2.99/per like 3 weeks ago? What the heck?!?!
