Cubs Story of the Year…

Easily the story of the year for Cubs has been the play of Carlos Zambrano. He has blown past Wood and Prior becoming the staff ace. Even more exciting is Zambrano’s hitting. The guy has 6 home runs. That is more then a ton of offensive players. BUT. Zambrano has 6 HRs in only 70 at-bats. If he had 500 trips to the plate you could average him at 42 HRs. That would put him in the top 5 for home runs for NL players.

I want Zambrano playing 1B next year, and pitching every 5th day.
